The electromechanical crank press is of a rugged steel construction for high - reliability use over extended periods.
Basically it is used for crimping any sort of connection terminal on prepared wire or cable (many quick - change applicators can be fitted) and also for cutting, riveting etc.
The press can either be used manually as a benchtop machine which is operated by a food switch (on request by to interlocked push button) or full automatic operation be fitted to wire and cable preparation machines.
Three phase 0.25 kW motor which at rest is stationerary.
Maximum crimping force (copper conductors up to 10 mm2) 1 ton depending on type of machine (the applied force is directly proportional to the terminal type in order to assure long life on the tools.)
The electrics are mounted in a box installed on the left side of the machine in the manuel type inside the machine in the automatic type.
Noise level is very low because of a new electronic brake.
The only maintenance necessary is to lubricate tle sliding parts by grease cups every 1000 working hours.
